  1. The best part of Comic Con for those of us not there!

    • I can’t say how grateful I am to find all this stuff captured just now. I may never have been so thankful for the Internet! :)

  2. He looks like he’s having a good time.

  3. He definitely looks like he’s having fun!

  4. My inner geek is happily exhausted. This was fun even from 3000 miles away.

  5. Thanks for posting this – I don’t get into many forums so I would have missed this.

It’s a great interview – RA has a gift for explaining things in a way that a beginner to TH and the whole 3D thing can understand, but without appearing patronising.

I’ve got to admit I had been hoping the full beard would have gone though. Still, perhaps he left it on for the LOTR fans (or servetus!)

  6. Interesting that they can’t use forced perspective with 3D – that’s the first time I’d heard that.

  7. His interview with TORn was definitely more relaxed and where he really got to laugh, in the other ones he’s definitely more tuned into the ‘promo pitch’. It was also interesting to hear that he was ‘De Niro mode’ according to the lucky few from TORn who got to visit the set.

  8. I prefer him with no beard and long hair. I don’t know about looking happy, but he looks tired. Makes ya kinda want to take care of him, eh? But who wouldn’t be tired after coming to CA from NZ, doing Comic-con, preparing for a new role and getting ready to start filming in Detroit next week. He deserves a break. I hope he’s enjoying the ride and having the time of his life. You can sleep when you’re dead, right?

    • thanks for the comment, taajz007, and welcome. I always want to take care of him.

I used to say “sleep when you’re dead,” until I turned 40. :)

  9. Thanks for posting! :D
