On Peter Jackson’s facebook page.
Armitage gets two really evocative, beautiful quotes and if I’m not mistaken, is filmed doing something funny at 10:54. (Will have to watch again to make sure that was him.)
This is really sweet, and it’s not the last one!

It’s still buffering GRRRRRR but I have seen first four minutes and have it downloading, too. So excited to see this today!!
totally worth it.
Finally, the promised vlog appeared. And yup, it is really nice to see the camaraderie amongst the cast.
yeah, they really liked each other.
Have only watched it very quickly whilst trying to do bedtime. His voice sounds even deeper!
yeah, that’s definitely Thorin-voice.
Love it! Grinned the whole way through! I want a job I love as much as that!
I loved it, especially the beautiful sets.
This is a great picture of RA:

Standing in front of all the cameras, talking passionately about what’s close to his heart…
I think this picture symbolizes the new era, no?
(ok, and the jeans are great too).
yes, that “I’m just a little out of control” vibe is so amazing!
Those sets are beautiful, and Peter Jackson seems like such a sweet darling. I would love to cuddle up with him too. He must have a fascinating story to tell about getting this movie off the ground and dealing with all sorts of expectations.
I was particularly moved by RA’s comment about walking through the lot a 4;45 am when the stars are still out and getting into his role. Somehow I never feel peaceful driving during rush hour to get to work in the morning. I want to hear more from him about his experience. They all seemed so happy to have gone through this movie.
I found his early morning comment very moving too, Gracie! I’m sure he will have enough of these never-to-be-forgotten memories to last a lifetime! The whole video was quite mind-blowing. What an amazing experience for everyone involved!
and so amazing that they’ve shared it with us.
yeah, Peter Jackson looks to me something like the ideal partner — or at least he looks like men I have actually dated.
I very much resonated with that comment — when I used to walk on to campus very early in the morning I sometimes had that feeling.
Well…this has just shot my plans for the morning to pieces! I’ll have to watch it again and catch up on the comments and visit the gallery at RANet and then watch it again a few more times.
I have a big smile on my face and tears in my eyes. So much to love about it, especially seeing and hearing more of Richard/Thorin, the beautiful sets, the camaraderie and the emotion with which they all speak, cast and crew alike, of their work and their mates.
Sorry about that — but blame it on Peter Jackson
I’m totally gob-smacked – loved everything about this blog and now I’m going back for even more of it!
Yep, my plans for this morning have gone completely out the window, too, Mezz, but we’re in great company
you can run errands when you’re dead. Oh wait …
I love the scene with the fish….RAs cheeky laugh and Adam Browns: ‘You bastard!’ *lol*
yes — that was *so* delightful.
good to see they had so much fun
yeah, it’s a definite selling point for the movie. How could I not watch it, now?
Don’t you want to watch it? No fan of LotR and the Hobbit?
I wouldn’t have been dying to see it, no, were Richard Armitage not in it.
I saw all the LOTR films and enjoyed them but I’m not a hardcore fan. Eventually I will probably post about this.
Same here, but I would have watched it anyway because I liked the LotR movies.
Can’t wait to read about it!
