WOW!!! Still trying to catch my breath! It's been a great day!!!
Yesterday was a great day too. Hubby drove me around Oakland University to my fave vantage point for shooting pictures of the main scene of the tornado movie being filmed there. He convinced me to go take my pictures even though there were crew members working there. Another man appeared out of nowhere and was giving the others some instructions.
This makes me unbelievably happy.

although there are pieces in there from lots of husband stories I’ve heard, a bit part of the post about partners was inspired by your husband.

he’s been very active in that regard lately. I wonder if the information politics on the Hobbit set were so tight that he was chafing a bit? Because suddenly he pops out with all these meetings? Or if NZ fans were just not so forthcoming?
This is after all quite surprising or are we just not used to see him on occasion any more? You are right, it seems to be more your (US) turn! Alternatively he’s just plain relieved that he for a while must not wear all those heavy (time-consuming) Thorin-costumes any more. Which indeed could be very liberating, since he can move around more easliy!!
yeah good point — not so much time in makeup anymore, and maybe no confidentiality agreement about the costume.
