Watching for the Plot
Reblogged from The Richard Armitage Dictionary:
This phrase was submitted for Bccmee's video dictionary project by Capaca. It is frequently used as a tag on Tumblr, most notably on Recycled Vinyl.
Watching for the Plot: Gratuitous appearances of Richard’s body without clothes, which may or may not be integral to the actual plot, but we pretend it is anyway.
Some of us actually ARE watching for the plot. At least some of the plot, some of the time ... :)

I watch for the plot (although in some projects, that leaves me feeling highly confused and in some cases, downright peeved). But if Mr. Armitage happens to discard certain items of clothing along the way, I do not object. Indeed, I pause to appreciate because (A) I know he has worked hard to look good for the camera and (B) I say a silent prayer of thanks that he was provided with such prime genetic material in the first place. It seems only right to do so . . . should we not practice a daily attitude of gratitude??
Plot? What plot?
Why should we be shy about it?
He knows better than anyone the weakness of plot in certain shows…he seems to shrug, “all in a days work.” Lap it up ladies
(and gents)
good point.
