Describe this Armitage face
Richard Armitage as Bill Chatford in Malice Aforethought. Source: RichardArmitageNet.com
There’s something so transfixing here, and I think it’s because there are so many pieces of things. The expression in the eyes amusement in the left eye that turns into the background of a sneer in the right eye; the position of the lips; the way the forehead is contracting; the contrast between coldness and energy, between pride and the humiliation that underlies it; the potential for violence beneath the smooth veneer — I can’t stop looking.
To me this look says, “Would you like a free mustache ride?”

Joanna, Servetus is very detail oriented and really thinks things through and and expresses herself articulately. I am always amazed at what she sees in what most people usually just see as a picture of a handsome man. As opposed to me, who just blurts out random nonsense. I’m the yin to servetus’ yang. When I saw the pic, I just could not help myself.

@ Snickers Mom: Dear good-natured Servetus! ๐ She attempts to understand one Polish girl who speaks in language which pretends to be English. ๐

English is like Latin — it’s a very tolerant system ๐

Me + is a comfort zone, Joanna. I’m great in my language – only you wouldn’t know it from my typos. ๐ I CAN spell, people!! AND I had 6 years of Latin. Most of which is forgotten. And about 14 years of French. And well, languages, other than English and Typo-speak….

Yeh, Joanna, we live with that image. (And try hard to be bad, I mean, Nice!! We are dead boring. ๐ ) I suppose there are worse images…
And Poles are much more interesting! Sabre-charging on Arab horses, and valiant and couragious! And all the rest of our national images. ๐ We’re just individuals. And we like each other, in spite of the images…Giggle.

I’d call this look mischievous in some ways. And I’m going crazy about it. First I saw similiar ones in Heathras’ Womanizer video. I got there through some comments of the Hobbit Trailer & was curious about that handsome fellow on the horse already. The fanvideo hooked me, finally. Off I went watching N&S and Robin Hood *lol*.
