Love how this camera angle gives us that very architectural view of his left [ETA: right: I really am tired] wrist and hand in all their glory. Plus, what he’s doing to that bottle with his lips!
This photo seems just right for the end of a really long day — and signals what I am about to do. Mmmmm.

Rather a fan of fuzzy forearms, too. (as long as they aren’t mine. 😀 )

It looks so blonde here…a bit at odds with Lucas/John’s raven locks 🙂

there were some of the last scenes filmed for S9, iirc. So maybe he had a really active summer in the sunlight? Or they were leftover from the six months spent filming SB?

I imagine South African sun will do that to ‘ya…Isn’t his natural hair color somewhat lighter than the super dark on Guy and Lucas? I’ve seen so many incarnations, I can’t keep up. (I can relate…I’m not sure what my natural hair color is anymore 🙂 )

yeah, Guy / Lucas is a coloring job. Porter, potentially also, although not as aggressively. But we have to confess we’re not entirely sure ourselves what color his hair really is 🙂

Gotta love a man with secrets 🙂 Probably a good thing to keep under his hat (sorry, couldn’t resist) I would imagine it is easier for him to move around relatively unnoticed – at least for now – without the black hair.

One thing I and i bet a lot of other people wondered is why he didn’t color his hair darker much earlier in his career. He was cute in brown (and that’s my favorite, honestly, because of my boy-next-door fetish), but Thornton’s dark hair made him look so dashing. Why didn’t an agent or advisor pick up on that earlier, one wonders?

I like the wavy brown he was sporting this summer too…looks so young and fresh (*guh*). But I know what you mean…he is a study in contrasts with the very dark hair and pale skin – striking. Makes you wonder about how good his early agent really was.

And his hair was quite the sandy blond brown at the Isaac Theatre Royal benefit last June. Sighhh!

yeah, I’m not sure I’d call it sandy but it was as light as we’ve seen it, as if he’d spent a lot of time in the sun, except he hadn’t as far as we know …

Who would have thought that arm hair on a guy could be so sexy. I absent minded will put my fingers thought one said husbands arm hair, and have been for many years. Not sure why I even do, I just do.
