Armitage auditions

Just finished with my last class for the term. Whew. My whole body aches from today. Too much going on in life, ArmitageWorld, and then the job thing. But I had to bookmark this from today’s TORn interview.Screen shot 2012-12-05 at 11.08.50 PM

This was interesting to read because we’d speculated for so long that maybe the reason his career didn’t take off more quickly was that he experienced difficulties in auditions.

A nice datum to add to this. I’ve gotta finish that, too, as I want that portrait fixed in wax before too much more changes. Will still have a lot going on, but at least now classes are finished, so I can get on with my many purposes here. Looking forward to tomorrow in that regard!

  1. interesting view – maybe I’ll try that at my next audition- It is hard, very hard, especially if the character personality is a total opposite from your own personality. Someday I might be able to thank him in person for the advice. That’s if I can remember how to breath after he says hi. 8^)

    • I found it interesting because it’s how academic job interviews work. They go over three days, usually, and you have to “do” your actual work in that setting.

  2. […] but I am trying not to do it this time. I’m trying to take seriously Armitage’s remark about auditions, that you make yourself believe that they already want you and you just have … So I am prepared, but not overprepared. I am also praying “thy will be done.” […]
