Third candle, third year
It’s my doctoral adviser’s yorzeit. Funny how his death seemed like a sign at the time. And now I am asking myself the opposite question.
Last year I was involved in a huge conflict with my parents and I posted Chanukkah favorites to cheer myself up against the darkness.
It’s really dark this time of year. Driving tonight I could tell the new moon must be coming soon. The sky was so dark.

And, yeah, I’m really tired. No new thoughts tonight.
I’ve got a king sized bed. Headed for some serious Armitage fantasy.
