Richard Armitage Legenda 83: Stuff worth reading
Legenda offers a brief, non-inclusive index of stuff about Richard Armitage that I noticed and enjoyed since the last episode. It doesn’t usually include materials presented on the major fansites, which I love dearly, but which are linked in the sidebar. Because I always forget or just miss stuff, please add additional pieces of interest via link in the comments.]
Fire on the set of The Hobbit
Giving thanks that everyone’s okay.
Hope TDOS trailer went over well. We saw it last week, even we were jumping up and down!!….

Reactions to the sneak peak trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
I liked it a lot, but I didn’t have an incredible complex response to it — except for my reaction that it was a nice combination of exciting action and apparent emotion / conflict. I’m excited about Lee Pace and very excited about the possibility for the Thranduil / Thorin exchanges. I’ve posted about my two favorite images this week, and want to write more about one in particular. One more week of summer school and then I should have my blogging mojo back.

Remember that much of this stuff is NSFW.
- Loving the fellow fans.
- Wet Thorin Oakenshield!
- Boot fan feels isolated.
- Thorin, the Misty Mountains, and good vibrations.
- Hobbit cast in peacoats.
- Amazing John Porter tongue animated GIF.
- Thorin worthy of one’s wall and so much more.
Armitageworld blogs OT
- Epiphany about love.
- Ancient Armitage gets ready for the annual family vacation.
- The birth of a blog.
OT, collateral attractions, and stuff I think about
- The Duchess of Cambridge to have the first ever royally-sanctioned baby shower. And other celeb baby showers.
- A final interview with GQ: Peter O’Toole. He still wants to record all of Shakespeare’s sonnets.
- The pleasures of wild garlic (Bärlauch in German — it grows all over southern Germany and I remember harvesting some in a woods near Tübingen once). For U.S. foodies, this is a relative of the wild leek or ramp. Yum.
- Game of Thrones finale breaks piracy download records. I’d have a few choice words about this one, especially the statistics presented in the end. When your illegal audience is the equivalent of 20 percent of your legal audience, basic microeconomics suggests that you’ve set your price too high. (Servetus neither watches nor pirates GoT.)
- On leaving a creative project that you love but that everyone’s ignoring.
A great index of what RA and other posts are out there! And thanks for the mentions. Cheers! ;->

🙂 I thought that was very interesting, myself. I don’t think anyone can blame him for knocking off at 80, but the stories from earlier are very interesting!
