• Charlotte Hawkins has published the third novel in her Gisborne series originally inspired by Richard Armitage’s portrayal of Sir Guy, The Baron’s Lady (buy on amazon). OT, collateral attractions, and other things I think about

• Moments when you need to be an adult.
• This is huge in a bad way: tumblr (recently purchased by Yahoo) is changing its policy on adult / NSFW tumblrs. From now on, if you tag yourself (or tumblr tags you) at a certain level of content, your blog will not be searchable — even via tags — unless the person searching is *already* following you. This kind of policy would make it very, very hard for the sort of spontaneous “sexy confessions” tumblrs to find their audiences. I have to say this almost makes me angry.
• Tweeting in Latin.
• Martin Freeman on his romantic partner’s bankruptcy and other things.
• We will miss you, Ryan Gosling.
• “Trayvon Martin and I ain’t shit.” This made me cry when I read it.
• India ends telegraphy. Have you ever sent or received a telegram? I sent about five to my boyfriend in Moscow, in 1990-91. It was really expensive. I had an email account at that time, but as a U.S. student studying at a Soviet university, he couldn’t get one.
