As the machine for The Crucible in cinemas cranks up

Google alerts has been filled with notices of The Crucible about to appear on UK screens December 4th and 7th. Most of the articles are either very brief or just about what will show up in a local cinema in the next ten days. This one made me laugh — will Malcolm and his mother be watching? This is the only one I’ve seen so far that’s got interesting new information: an intelligent interview with Anna Madeley, or rather, an interview that reveals Madeley’s intelligence.

  1. Thanks for the lovely interview. Feeling very overwhelmed at the moment between the Hobbit and the Crucible. I don’t want to sound ungrateful but i almost wish i could stretch it all out, i don’t really want to cram the Curcible in between the Hobbit, but i don’t have a choice. But i know other people have been wishing to see it and won’t even get the chance to, so probably shouldn’t complain about finicky things like my mind being all over the place between things… Thankfully for all of us it will be available online to download/see and then i can cocoon myself in with it like i want to 🙂
For now i’ll just try to ride the Hobbit madness and hope it doesn’t swallow me whole 🙂 I just have to make it to Monday..

    • She was interviewed today on BBC Radio Warwickshire and Coventry, but I couldn’t find the interview.

It will be a lot going on. It feels like less than last year, though, which is a relief. Last year I almost drowned 🙂
