        • oh, good. I thought it was charming, how focused McTavish’s daughter was on him — I couldn’t figure out if that was clinginess from being sleepy or not having seen dad for a long time …

          • It was charming! And no doubt it was overwhelming for a kid. There was probably a lot of tension in the air, the sense that it was all a big deal — the TV reporter with her mike rapping out questions and then turning to the camera.
            Even as a lowly local news reporter talking to elementary school kids in their own classrooms, I have found that kids get all bashful and too flustered to answer a question quickly. I was able to wait for the answers, but TV reporters can’t.
            But it was nice to see the kiwi dwarves — at least some of them — getting together. I didn’t see Dean O’Gorman or Mark Hadlow in the group pictures. I hope they’ll all be together at the LA premiere.

  2. awww i really really missed him, i was hoping they would do a live connection but i have no clue, really hope somebody the recorded the live broadcast and that it’s on youtube by now to see them 🙂
