  2. always a true gent ๐Ÿ™‚ at least i said who were my favourites before any announcement so i don’t sound like sour grapes now ๐Ÿ˜‰
Mark Strong’s performance was really good ๐Ÿ™‚ Congratulations to him.
It was a bit predictable in the end, the preference for the View from the bridge ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, maybe people do feel we need a bit of something else, new and fresh in London.
I say all we need is just good theatre and story telling, in whatever form this comes. This was one of it and there was also more.
I don’t regret getting involved as i pushed myself to do more theatre when i was struggling for time and i’m glad this way i stuck to one of my main commitments made because of the Crucible… it sort of comes full circle and it is one more thing to be grateful for because of the Crucible.
Still glad for the nominations ๐Ÿ™‚ It was great recognition.
Bit sad for Richard but i love his work so much, aside nominations awards don’t make that much of a difference in how i feel about his work ๐Ÿ™‚ Bit sad for James McAvoy too, 3rd time unlucky…. and he is absolutely great too.
    Onwards to new things ๐Ÿ™‚

    • yeah, this result was my guess after what I heard this last year. I was thrilled at the nomination and still am. And yeah: it’s just as sad for the other non-winners ๐Ÿ™‚ My guess is he’s having fun with what he’s doing now.

      • i think so too, and so he should, i think he was happy about the nomination but his work moves on and boy does he like working ๐Ÿ™‚ good for us!

  3. Always the gentleman, our Richard. โค After reading what you and others had to say I suspected Mark would win. I like him very much as an actor and am proud for him. In the end, only one actor gets to take the award home. Richard is busy working (duh, like what else would we expect? ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and seems happy and in good spirits. He’s engaged in projects he wishes to be involved in—it’s all good!
