[spoilers] Here’s a glimpse of Armitage in the second scene

Honestly, you see more here than I did in the theater. I was watching the scene, thought, “Hmm, I’d expect to see King Oleron appear here,” blinked, and caught just enough of the beard to notice he was there.

  1. Yeah, it is disappointing, because one wishes: now we’re going to see more of him!!! But then there is only this swift blurry figure which obviously moves so deftly… Thought it was due to the 3D version I watched. All that was not in the foreground appeared especially hazy throughout the film. But hopefully there is more of him in the extras of the upcoming DVD. Still he must look dashing in that vest… 😉

    • Thanks for the comment and welcome, but I was not aware it was a mystery.

      • I think maybe people were wondering what that costume was about on his twitter pic because it was not the King’s magnificent robes.

        • aha. I guess I missed that. I’ve been trying to stay away from too much participation in Twitter. Thanks.

        • The hair is different, too. I guess the king has a wig to go with his robes? Or maybe got a haircut between events. I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know the timeline here.

          • yeah, the king has a wig. I thought that was known, too. Shooting for the film took place in August / September 2014, right after he finished playing Proctor.

  3. What amazes me about RA is he is in perpetual motion in the entertainment world, constantly one thing after another, yet we have such long droughts between releases. At least we know Berlin Station will be out in the fall ( if you can get the channel) and one of his movies should come out. Such a shame King Oleron was such a quick shot, handsome but quick.
