They don’t actually say much, except that $89 is a lot to pay for a ticket and that they play sounds interesting. Oh, and they mention that Richard Armitaahj is in it!

I was expecting more, too. I think the thing that was worthwhile to learn was that it was the main / only show they wanted to see at Roundabout. I knew the bit about shows from the Pels going on to Broadway, but that was an important point, too.

Oh that’s interesting about them going on to Broadway. Do you think there’s a possibility for this play? I would think that these actors probably have other commitments, though.

Really hard to say and I don’t know enough to answer — just that there is that pattern with Roundabout’s Off-Broadway plays. I don’t know if the play is “big” enough in scope to fill a Broadway theater for a whole season. But if it’s hilariously funny? Maybe?

Wasn’t impressed with them, but other than ticket prices, everything they said was very complimentary, so that’s good.
