Have an easy fast and גמר חתימה טובה
Job interview over; I think it went okay. Thanks so much for all of the supportive wishes — it was nice to have you all at my back when I went into that room.
Yom Kippur is almost here — the sun is angling in a decisive way that says, get yourself together or you’ll be late — and so I’ll be gone until sundown tomorrow. I will probably do some ICYMI / stage door catch up posts when I’m back.
The challenge this year will not be fasting from food, or even from Armitageworld, but from knowing what’s going on in the political world outside the shul. That will be good for me, but it will be really hard.
I had wanted to do a post about this picture today, but for now I’ll just leave you with the image:

May we be sealed in the book of life for a year of blessings, good health, and prosperity.
Catch you on the flip side.
This is hopeful and that is good. Tzom Kal, S. (And what beautiful voices they have).
