How did he not get that LLL was a comedy? Apparently he’s got great comic timing!

I think it’s possible to read the play and not find it all that comic, but at the very latest the first rehearsal would have told him differently. So I think he was exaggerating a little.

Yes, right. Sorry, I made assumptions! I just checked, he will play Reverend Hale. That makes a lot more sense!
