Roundabout Theater publishes #LLLPlay designer statements #richardarmitage

Here. Illumination as to set, lighting, costuming, and sound design choices. Again, why so late?

  1. Hmmm… something to ponder on, certainly. Maybe they’re hoping to move from off-Broadway to on??

    • Yeah, if I were the suspicious type, I would be wondering now. Although they also published the Kingdom Come statements really late.

  2. It kind of feels like the publicity/social media interns needed to schedule some additional content, were handed a file of production stuff and told, “Figure it out.” In September, the blog had regular beginning of season stuff – artist and programming announcements, etc. In October, it had a lot of Q&A stuff with principal artists and a few Kingdom Come items on top of its opening (but as you said, a lot of KC stuff is late, too). Since then, it has been all content from the “back of the file”, as I call it.

    • The timing of this stuff was really different with the Holiday Inn and Cherry Orchard, too. I have to say I have not been super impressed with their social media outreach in general. Although it’s better managed than Berlin Station has been — they have had great materials but they are not very responsive at all. RTC seems to be on top of replies, anyway (if at times not understanding what is being asked)
