Richard Armitage: The seven-year itch

January 7th is the seven-year anniversary of Armitagemania onset. Description of how it happened, here. Re-reading that again now for the first time in several years, it strikes me how many themes the conversation that evening had in common with Love, Love, Love.

Ah, Mr. Thornton. I’ll love you forever.

He was so beautiful that night that I couldn’t draw my attention away from him. It took me months to figure out what was going on, why he was so fascinating. The explanation starts here.

Ah, Richard Armitage. I never thought I’d love you forever. I’m sure the last seven years have gone past as quickly for you as they have for me, or perhaps more quickly. Because of everything, you’re an itch I’m still happy to have.

I’m tired and I have to go to bed, but between now and the blogiversary in six weeks, expect a little rumination.

  1. It is fascinating to watch him continue to command our attention.

  2. Fantastisch! I’m looking forward to all your ruminations…. Wow, 7 years (10 months less for me!) – isn’t it great?? Carly is right: He is still topmost alluring and mesmerising.

  3. Seven years! That is simply wonderful. And yeah, there is something about the guy……
