  1. What did he call her? His little Cinderella?

  2. awww… big and small boys with their toys 🙂

  3. I find it telling how much this experience has stayed with him. These can be life-changing moments.

I’ll never forget a conversation I had with two refugee kids in the late 90s, which was extremely shocking and painful. No matter what problems we face due to the behaviour of a few refugees, I will always be 100% behind helping those who need help, no matter where they’re from, no matter their religion or culture.

    • Yes!

    • Most certainly. It is a humanitarian response!!! Politics are forgetting that we are humans, first and foremost.

    • Yes. I was pointing out to someone today that Americans do plenty of horrible things to other Americans and we never think of kicking them out. there are bad people in almost every group but that doesn’t justify leaving them to die. But people are so concerned with their own comfort that they can’t look beyond the ends of their noses sometimes.

Someone said to me, today, “what if refugees came and people started converting to Islam?” and I said, “I personally don’t care, but are you that unsure of your own beliefs and their attraction that you’d rather see people suffer than take the risk that they might convince you or someone you know?” Aaargh.
