All I need is … Richard Armitage (love, love, love)

Kind of like this, although I took this from a different scene.

Was driving across town today when “Love Is All You Need” came on the radio.

It’s the first time I’ve heard it since December, I think — and it immediately transported me back to that stage.

I wonder what Richard Armitage thinks when he hears a song from those playlists these days. If he can’t stand to hear it yet, or if it makes him grin?

It made me grin.

      • omg didn’t realise what i wrote until now! meant to say grin of course (so exhausted recently, typing on the run is worse than my usual gibberish 😦 ) Apologies! I really think all his memories of LLL are fond ones. Seemed he enjoyed it a lot and i think hearing the music would definitely make him smile.

  2. Smile – I hope 🙂
It’s one of my favourite Beatles songs: ‘Love is all you need’ together with ‘Yellow submarine’.

  3. I got a feeling that experience was a positive one for him, so I’d imagine it making him smile. Possibly accompanied by an immediate “oh no, not THAT song again!” reaction as well…

  4. yeah, does the earworm effect (and the fact that he heard these songs for a minimum of 100 performances in a row) outweigh the “good memory” effect for him?

I admit that there are songs on that playlist that I now associate with the play and think, “uch.”

  5. Sorry, as you mention the Beatles… apparently I’m rather bearing grudges when it comes to RA…(unusual for me!!) 😉 Still think it wasn’t nice of Roundabout Theater that they didn’t release a picture of “Kenneth” in his ultimate 19-years-old-appearance (after the Press Night). He looked so differently to the rehearsal photos. What a great pity…….. 😦

    • I imagine they never got that photographer back there, but I agree, it would have been a nice thing to do. He looked much younger!
