Pilgrimage gets three IFTA nominations #richardarmitage

IFTA is the Irish Film and Television Academy. Nominations are Tom Comerford for Cinematography and Stephen McKeon for Music (I can definitely endorse those) and for costume design (Leonie Prendergast, who also worked on Berlin Station). Full list is here.

  1. Yay! Go Pilgrimage! I really liked the costumes and music – well done.

    • Too bad no acting noms — I’d have guessed Bernthal could have gotten one — but with the acting, cinematography and music were among the best parts.

      • I thought Bernthal was good but not great. I felt Armitage as a very convincing villain – he was quite menacing and calculating. And well done in a foreign language. All the actors did well, but not quite award worthy performances I’m thinking.

      • And yes, the cinematography was really really good. And Steven Weber was a suitably repugnant character.
