Sign of life?

Tonight dad suggested we could put up a Christmas tree. He hasn’t wanted to have one since mom died. Wow.

  9. Oh, that’s great news! Merry Christmas!

  10. So happy to hear your dad wants a tree. I know it will be a hassle for you (as if you did not have enough already). Maybe all your hard work helping him to get better is paying off. I hope so. I did minimal decorating this year for various reasons, but the tree and the mantle look great. Couldn’t make the effort to put out the holiday guest towels. I feel a bit guilty about it, to tell you the truth. I think that makes me a bit of a Scrooge.

    • At this point I’d settle for “everything really clean.” We are agreed, though, that we will be getting a weekly cleaner in mid-January.

I hope you have a great Xmas. You’re not Scroogey at all.

      • Thanks, Serv. Hope your holiday is great too. You are too kind to this Scroogey person. Having a clean house is beyond my expectations. It stays clean for maybe one day, if I am lucky.
