Richard Armitage says goodbye
@EPIXHD @ParamountTV @BerlinStation Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on the show, and to everyone who came along for the ride. ‘We’ll always have Berlin ❤️’ https://t.co/u7czZPjg2m

I wish the news agencies would stop describing the BS cancellation as ‘Richard Armitage-fronted’ or ‘his international spy drama’ . It’s as if they are singling him out as being responsible for it failing, when he was hardly in it and, in fact, died.

Jane it became a cluster fuck of enormous proportions so good riddance as sad as I am to say that! More Raymond roles please!! 😘👏🇬🇧😉❤️❤️❤️

Raymond as in DeMerville? I thought his acting was top notch as Raymond, although I think I may be in the minority on that film. I don’t know much about that time period in Ireland, or much about Monks so I rather enjoyed the movie.

No I really liked Pilgrimage and will watch it again. The gore was bad but the beauty and messages of the film still sit w me. You are not alone Sparkhouse!! 😘❤️👍

Touché – I also thought of the Marlene Dietrich song and was wondering why he used the phrase that is usually ascribed to Paris…

Guylty Orser used the same we’ll always have Berlin too in his remembrance and thanking everyone

Ah. I wonder whether it was a message scripted by the marketing team, then.

Yeah I found it odd I guess that Orser used essentially similar language and that phrase
From Orser I could see that b/c that was his and BB thing but from Richard I thought it weird cute but weird. It was just a huge mindfuck S3 for me as a viewer I have no other way of explaining it. I’m glad it’s over and hopefully all parties can move on to better things. I totally agree about loss potential though I think that is what upsets me about the show the most. I wished Winters hadn’t been kicked out or left or whatever happened b/c ar least there was vision and cohesiveness in S1 and S2 for DM IMO of course

We will always have “whatever” is a very common phrase just like “what heppens in ? stays in?… some sayings just keep cropping up. Reg. Pilgrimage I did not see it due to the “gore” factor but I know he is always fantastic in these types of roles and I know the time period is one of the reasons for the cruelty in it, but maybe one day I will catch it just to hear him speak French. Really once RA left BS I don’t think ( other than those involved) morn the loss of the series.
