Tring Park was on our route when we walked the Ridgeway in 2015. I remember it was at the end of a very long day, so we were tired, but a lovely spot and we always appreciate the beautiful deciduous trees and the variety of greens …. not seen over here at the moment given our drought.
Side note: In 2007(ish) a fan donated a tree in one of these woodland heritage areas in honour of Richard Armitage’s birthday. He stated at the time that he intended to visit the area. I often wondered if he ever did.
Good luck with the snow and sending good wishes to you. x

I love this! Dirty hands, longer hair, beard, outdoor wear. I would trade any of the ‚fancy‘ pictures for more of these. If there’s another of him in Wellies, I‘m going to melt…😉

I agree — I wondered if maybe there were nape curls?

1 – Where is his chapka: a traditional fur hat in etrivière goatskin and sable?
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouchanka
2 – One more time, is he strictly applying the Stanislavski method?
“It does not matter if the game is good or bad, what matters is that it is true”…
3 – Or is it his first step to reduce his carbon footprint?

Uncle Vanya was the inspiration because I saw a second photograph with another of the cast.

My son’s Christmas wish-list explained me to buy a leaving sapling and plant it in the garden, to decrease his carbon impact.
So I bought a bred nearby small Norman tree and I should try to find bred nearby Japanese maples with as different colors as I could ( orange-yellow, deep red, gold, pink…) small maples in jar: Acer palmatum or big trees: Acer japonicum … each for every family member.
Have a nice Christmas!
