Celebrity role model?
When I heard her say she modeled Tauriel on Tinkerbell, I thought, uch, what an airhead. That was the least of it, apparently. I’ve heard plenty of conspiracy theories already but one I hadn’t heard is that this is happening because it’s election year. Way to go, Ms. Lilly. Thanks loads from those of us who are staying in with our vulnerable parents.
Well, if anyone is taking health advice from Evangeline Lilly more fool them.
The problem is that kids are like little Petrie dishes – they will pass the virus amongst themselves with few ill effects but then pass it to grandma ( because has anyone tried social distancing with a three year old?) who will cope less well. I think the parents who are trying to keep their kids off school and activities are the socially responsible ones, not the yummy mummies of Evangaline’s ilk.

Not least because of the stress of spending that much uninterrupted time with them.

He’s still going to work — the nature of his job doesn’t allow him to telecommute. In fact they’re in overdrive at the moment due to the toilet paper hoarding.

Apparently she says she is immunocompromised, has two young kids, and lives with her father who has stage 4 leukaemia. She seems to think it’s all being made too much of. Irresponsible, much?

I wondered why she should be immunocompromised. Maybe she doesn’t know what it means?

or she’s decided he will die anyway so this is a handy way to accelerate it. There’s been some discussion about this in the US lately — the way that people are saying “only old people get it” as if that makes it okay to spread it.

our state has done that too — the daycares are very limited — but it’s only a matter of time till someone brings something home from work and passes it to a child.

Yeah, not a good look. Supposedly she and Pace and Armitage were all great friends. Maybe she didn’t have her crazy on back then.

I guess she took the conspiracy theory out of that post because all I see now is just a text about how irresponsible she is.

I hope she doesn’t kill her family, or inadvertently let her kids do it. There was a report in the NYT today about a family where three of seven members are now dead.

Thanks for the share. Wow. She says, “I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices.” What she doesn’t realize is that by her actions she is taking away other people’s freedom and other people’s lives, not to mention what her selfish actions mean for her kids… Wow…

If this moment isn’t the death knell for libertarianism, humans are truly stupid. “You do you” is not the right message for right now.

When I think about how she was sold as a role model and identification figure for women during the Hobbit press, I could really vomit. (I was never on board with any of that — but she’s shown herself more or less to be the exact opposite of a role model.)

‘We are all doomed!’
