Live from Epidaurus

This is really interesting (or any way I think it is). Watch a live stream from the Greek National Theatre in the historic ampitheatre at Epidaurus. The play is Aeschylus’ The Persians. In Greek with subtitles. Here.

  1. Pretty cool. (No time to watch in full, though.) I was a bit distracted by the bearded men in back, one of whom has a real Armitage look. Shallow, I know.

    • I thought that, too (Armitage). I’m writing a lecture about the Electoral College, so I’m kind of watching out of the corner of my eye.

  2. How are you ladies watching this play? Did you have to make a donation to gain access?

    • I think you had to watch it live — after the performance ended the link was marked “private.”
