Getting back on the horse

Here are links to two articles I found interesting:

A survey of the London theater scene that mentions Yaël Farber’s Macbeth. You remember how I feel about that.

Annabel Capper makes the New Yorker!

  1. Timing may be everything in showbiz,. RA is in Spain filming the Man From Rome and prior to that was making Stay Close for Netflix. He does not seem to have stopped despite the virus. I loved the Seville Communion book and saw him as perfect for the part and it seems to be going well. But I would love to have seen him in.Macbeth before he is to old to play it , though Denzel Washington is in his 60s in the new film.

    • Do people get too old to play Macbeth? I feel like the role demands a certain energy, but not necessarily youth.

And yeah, who knows about scheduling.
