I was weepy today, too, watching the stream of the Royal Windsor Horse Show extravaganza. And I was thrilled she made it back out on to the balcony. She’s definitely a piece of coal who stuck to the job.
She’s looking very frail though

I agree. Seems like she’s lost weight. The death of a partner is a horrible thing.

That and having had COVID, I think.

I was happy to see her out on the balcony again after the pageant as well (and in that gorgeous shade of vibrant green!)
The skit with Paddington Bear was delightful – she hasn’t lost her sense of humour bless her.

Yes, she definitely has a very sneaky, subtle sense of humor.

The whole thing has been so joyful. After so much sadness and hardship it’s wonderful to see the whole country joining together to celebrate. I think for 96 she’s incredible.

I hope the feeling lasts. And yes, long live the Queen. She’s a force of nature.

She makes me think of my grandma who passed away. Strong and frail

I have shared your reflection on recent losses we’ve had here, too. It seems inevitable. I have been a bit teary through it all. I’m glad you have such good memories of your grandma.
