Richard Armitage moves into Area 51
This is my twelfth post of this kind. In honor of the occasion and the weak pound, I will make a donation of £2 (GBP) for each person who comments on this post from now until I close comments (whenever I get up on Tuesday morning, 8/23, my time, at the exchange rate at the time I donate). A person is someone with a unique handle, email and IP address who leaves a comment HERE at my wordpress blog. Limit one comment per person. Lurkers and first-time commentators are welcome. There is no limit on the donation. I will not be sending separate notice to Richard Armitage about this activity, nor do I expect any acknowledgement from him. This is just for fans, really. Because I’ve been doing it forever. My little Richard Armitage birthday hobby.
This year, the money will again be donated to LOROS in honor of Margaret Armitage.
Those in a giving mood may also want to give separately to a charity that Richard Armitage has supported.
Your comment does not have to have any particular content. If you would like to say something: what question would you ask Richard Armitage today?
Looks like i’m the first to comment!

A lovely tradition, thank you Servetus for doing this again.
Happy birhtday RA!
If I could ask him anything I would probably ask him if he is satisfied with his career at this point of time.

Happy Birthday, Richard
Hope you’ve not worked too hard today. Your work ethic is amazing and shows no sign of slowing down. How do you fit it all in?!

Anything to put more funds into the LOROS coffers. To hear Richard tell it, they were a light in the darkness when his Mum was in end-of-life care. Bless their work, and bless you Serv for continuing this charitable tradition.

This is such a great tradition. Thank you! What would I ask RA on his birthday? Maybe just what plans he has for the day… do we know where he is at the moment?

I’m a long time lurker so hello to you and your readers. I’ve enjoyed your posts over the years and find your lengthy and detailed critiques thoughtful and astute. I wish you all the best for your career redirection. I have long admired Richard Armitage as an actor however I haven’t always enjoyed all his projects. I’m sure, like many of us have from time to time, taken jobs for the pay packet and career progression. I would like an opportunity to ask him about his career choices and aspirations. Thank you Servitus for your donations on this and previous occasions.

Bless you for doing this, Serv. And happy birthday Richard. If I could ask him anything today it would be, “are you happy with your life?”

Such a lovely generous gesture, Servetus. “Mr Armitage, as you are in Area 51, do you believe in aliens – and can I have a birthday kiss, even though it is your birthday not mine?”

Hello again, doesn’t he look just as fine 🙂 I love this late summer celebration, so many good memories. I’m torn between asking him what books he’s reading these days and what his next theatre project will be (hoping there is one sometime :-))
Love to have you around and have this yearly fan virtual meet-up 🙂 Thanks for doing this again xx

I love your RA birthday hobby 😊 And I am very grateful, since I am cut out of the outer world right now and can’t pay for anything abroad.
My very personal question to Richard: Are you still a DIY guy? Just wondering 😉

And thank you, Serv, for continuing this tradition. hugs

My mom would’ve been 89 today… I lost her a year ago. And discovered RA a year ago, too — she would have laughed with me in my admiRAtion and inspiRAtion. 🙂 Now I have 2 birthdays to celebrate Aug. 22. His speech at Leicester Univ. reconfirmed for me why I think he is worthy of the honors and devotion. Living in NYC for many years I can get grouchy. Now I try and write less critical restaurant and hotel reviews lol. My Qs are these: Is it possible to find Richard’s recording of “Lords of the North”? And, has anyone listened to “Grapes of Wrath”? Anyway, Happy RCA Birthday, and thanks for doing the LOROS contributions, and any time you write something. Be well, everyone, where you all are.

I’m so thankful I bought the “Lords of the North” a number of years ago as I believe such an item is “as scarce as hen’s teeth” as the saying goes! I hardly dare listen to it now in case I damage the discs knowing I’d be unlikely to be able to replace them! 😦 Sorry! That doesn’t help you find somewhere to obtain them. I hope one day that TPTB will re-issue them. They really need to. They’d be sure to sell like hot cakes!!

heartful thoughts for this “special” day for you, for 2 so different reasons. I still believe a connection stays with those we cared for and who cared for us, specially our parents and as the saying goes, one really dies only when nobody still thinks of them so…. Take care.

“Just for fans” and Loros, that’s really a wonderful idea!
Ma question en 2022 est:
“Trouve t-il la même motivation (qu’à ses débuts) pour se lancer dans de nouveaux projets”?

My question would be: What is an average day in the life of Richard Armitage?
Happy Birthday RA, and thank you Servetus. I visit often.

I obviously forgot to leave a question ou several questions yesterday in my message 😉 so I catch up… well one question would be very “practical”, what are the presumed release dates of The man from Rome, Damage and…Now and then (because I have picked up only tiny info about the latter or instance) and another question would be more personal and I think all your relevant questions already made it. Nice week. Take care all of you.
