• This is a sort of fantasy / anti-fantasy that I also have — that I’d be capable of meeting him in an everyday situation with a totally straight face. Now, admittedly, given what I do, I’ll never meet him at work. But it’s a total fantasy. Of course I’d cave completely and gurgle.

Fanfic

• Everyone is reading Broken (Lucas North / OC / possibly R); I’m hearing how great it is and I haven’t even read one chapter. Some day. But everyone says, don’t miss it. I love MorrighansMuse’s other stuff.
• At Raucous, “Not What They Expected,” ch. 5. RPF, Armitage + OC. Gets steamy as the parties to the affair take it to the hot tub.
• This is really strange, but think Hobbit cast + Muppet babies. RPF Armitage, McTavish, no slash, no sex. “Baby Steps.” Amazingly sweet. Though I don’t think McTavish is young enough to have had the shoes with the flashing lights.
• And I probably spent most of my fanfic time this week reading RPF slash fics at Archive of Our Own. Here’s the Richard Armitage tag there. Take the warning on these fics seriously. I’m trying to figure out how to write about these.
• Also rereading ch. 17 of “In Consequence.” I’ve needed a lot of euphoria this week and this chapter provided it.

OT, collateral attractions, and things I think about
