Collateral attractions: Stephen Hunter interviews Dean O’Gorman
Here’s the trailer. Full interviews are usually available on Friday. I used to think Dean O’Gorman was mainly a cute face, until I saw this movie.

After the first time I viewed When Love Comes, I always keep a box of tissues next to me whenever I watch it. Even though I know what’s going to happen. Yes, Deano can act. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for access to some of his work that’s already been shown in New Zealand.

I really like Dean O’Gorman: he strikes me as very natural, at ease with himself, as seen in the Hobbit interviews and Hobbit-con stuff. It was apparent that he was definitely one of the “gang” on and off set (in a way RA never appeared to be, and that is not meant as a criticism of RA, just an observation). Suffice to say I am looking forward to the interview!

he’s made a mixed impression on me as a person. But it in any case I’ll be looking forward to this.
