I was immersed in Native American creation stories today — somehow very far away from current style choices.
I know what you mean. I do like to see him dressed stylishly but something about these trousers just struck me as a little strange.

Aha, just spotted them at Guylty’s. It’s the white sneakers that jar with me. A winter jumper and long trousers need solid, dark shoes imho.

I like it I wish I could see him standing? Men’s pants are so odd right now at least the way they wear them is odd (according to my 20 year old son who is very into fashion) very high waisted and skinny tapered leg ? Looks strange to my raised in the 80’s eye? But if a guy is tall and thin it looks very chic and tailored…and maroon is very in style in men’s pants right now. Men want color not just beige and khaki. So ya. He looks good and very on trend. 👍😊

I agree about the issues with men’s pants — I don’t get how they are cut. Maroon jeans remind me of German in the 90s though.

I was wishing he’d wear something maroon today. It’s my uni’s school color and we have do or die match today. If we win this season, it will be the first one in 32 years to get the championship. I think it’s fun if he wore the color coincidentally. Other than that, the white turtleneck looks cozy!

Sadly we didn’t win this year. But the school’s still in a celebratory mood because we still got into the finals! A lot of people have their hopes up for next year too. Haha thanks Richard 😉

I think his sartorial choices leave a lot to be desired at times. And explains why he needs a stylist (or at least a second opinion from someone). Outfit colours do nothing for him. And don’t get me started on the white sneakers look with maroon trousers….. Nooooo!

Thinking about it, I reckon he’s been styled for this because it’s very Christmassy with the colours and the snugglyness. I’m guessing there will be a video alongside the recording because we’ve seen how untidy he’s been for previous recordings!

Bit of both is good imo. I like to be quite smart most the time but I’m also enjoy just rocking the scruffy look too 😊

Because his hair is dark, I think it works really well with a light-coloured top and dark bottom. Personally, I was never partial to burgundy, maroon or something along that colour scheme, but it looks good on him.
What I’m basically saying that it’s rather stylish from top to bottom: dark, light, dark, light. If the sweater is mohair, he’s ‘asking’ for someone to touch him 🙂

To me, he looks good as usual. The white looks fine on him, both the jumper and the shoes. I´m more worried about the strange haircut – too cropped? too uneven?

I’m ok with the maroon trousers, I suppose, but I’d rather see him in black jeans. The shoes look ok to me. My main thing is — why is he so skinny and why is he trying so hard to look younger than he is?

For sure! Ses tenues sont parfois étonnantes. Son choix de chaussures: les bleues à l’aéroport au Canada, les chaussures-chiens dans “Ocean 8”.
Mais je n’ai jamais autant ri que lorsqu’il était venu recevoir, en 2015 au “Saturn Awards”, son trophée de “Best Supporting Actor” pour le “Hobbit”. Il portait un costume cravate avec de lourdes chaussures de randonnées.
