  6. Hi Serv,

    Thanks for telling folks “something” about my “Thorin’s Hope” fanfic–and making a play on words with my blog name “Something About Love (A)”. Ha! And who knows? Maybe your labeling my fan fic “unusual” will peak people’s curiosity to check it out. Ha! Maybe that explains all the “hits” I’ve been getting. Thanks!

    I’m still doing battle with my technical glitches about a shadow blog–which other blogsters seem to have that problem too based on the forum pages. But a WP “Happiness Engineer”–that’s his label, Ha!–has been emailing me back today. Yea! So, I’m more hopeful that it will get resolved. Fingers crossed.

    Even so, people still manage to find the real blog “Something About Love (A)”. Maybe they’ve got a different browser than I do. Ha.

    Thanks again. Cheers! Grati ;->

    • My “Something About Love (A)” blog has now been fixed by Word Press! Yea!

      The Happiness Engineer assigned to me emailed me back and forth over the last 24 hours and I answered his questions. He figured out the problem–the shadow blog had it’s own ID/IP address but was pointing to my URL–and he fixed it. He sent the bad blog to oblivion. Yea!

      I’m thrilled. Cheers! Grati ;->

  9. Legenda is very helpful, servetus.

    Gratia, I can usually find the “A” blog, but without the response capability. Just to let you know, I read the blog! The posts do come through on email.

    • Thanks fitzg!

      Good to know. I could tell that some people were getting through to my blog because I still had dozens of views/visitors on any given day.

      And I was floored that I had 191 views on the day I posted Ch. 2 for Thorin’s Hope and 134 views for my 9/11/11 post. Actually, my 9/11/11 post was a video I had made of Richard Armitage voicing three poems that I felt spoke to the context of 9/11.

      The number of visitors I’ve had so far is small potatoes compared to other established blogs–like Serv’s here. But it’s a thrill to me. Ha! I’m getting close to 2,000 total visitors. Ooh! I’m living on the edge now. Ha!

      And now that WP fixed my glitch, I’m hoping that it’s smooth sailing from now on and people will be more willing to visit my little blog. Yea!

      Cheers! Grati ;->

  11. Thank you very much for the recommendation. To tell truth, lately I don’t have too much time to be in the RAworld 😦 so even more I appreciate what you do (reading fanfics or watching vids though for a moment I can get away from RL- so thanks again 🙂 )

  12. Thanks for the shout-out! 🙂 I think it’s only really understood by people who were huge Modern Talking (1998-2003) nerds. Gives me a heavy nostalgia kick to read, now that it’s been a decade since the thing was written …

    Just realised I didn’t post all of that story at once, so still some parts to go. In which they encounter a baddie from a series of German silent horror films (also the title of a Blue System song), there are references to Astérix and The Flying Doctors, MacGyver comes along and Eddie Izzard makes a cameo. And I should probably be on anti-psychotic drugs. 😉
