Yeah, so not an expensive look. Tawdry, even. Why did this come to mind? Three things — fabric that’s grey or blue depending on the light you see it in; something about the cut of the pant around the waist; and the traditional trouser break.

I think it’s kind of silly, but I really do think this is Lee Preston and not Richard Armitage.
That said, I feel like there’s a contextual issue operating here — as the photos get better the old photos get worse.

That is definitely true. Better roles, more income, talented stylists perhaps…. The end result is a feast for the eyes that’s for sure!!! 😀

This is strictly the “outdoor pet” version of RA 🙂 (that’s what we call the booty calls you don’t tell anyone about lol) The more recent version is the one you’d shout from the rooftops about! ha ha!

maybe that’s what’s getting me at the moment in my subconscious — that this is the cheap version, the affordable attempt to imitate the classy look by a character who also tries affordably to imitate classy behavior 🙂
