I would pretty much be willing to swear on a stack of Bibles some of those rehearsal vids (where he isn’t in makeup and costume) DO include RA. Even with the low quality of the images, there is no mistaking the height, the nose, the hands–the thighs. Oh, yes–the thighs. sigh OK, this thing has to buffer for me to watch it . . . 😀

he looks a lot like Michael Gruber, I think, and all dancers have thick thighs but I really think the only people can judge are probably people who were there. It’s fun to think about though — that’s one of my most favorite thought experiments, the young Armitage at work …
