I’m not on twitter I hope it’s ok to comment here. I also went to see Love, Love,Love tonight, it was very good. The whole cast was good, the last scene really got to me. Richard looks younger in person. So worth traveling this far.

absolutely fine.
I agree — he has an energy on stage (and to some extent in person outside) that really enlivens him and that totally surpasses his screen presence. It’s like on screen he’s beautiful, but in person he can be subtly electric. Glad you enjoyed the play and the trip!

On screen he is beautiful unapproachable, but in person he is a real person just like to the rest of us. Beautiful, but just a bloke too. After the play almost everyone stood and clapped he seemed thrilled and Zoe K hugged him in a very loving daughter kind of way. Thank you for letting me comment I’m alone in my hotel and needed to tell someone what a great experience this was.

oh, I’m familiar with that feeling — bursting with excitement but nowhere to put it. I’m glad it was such a positive experience! I agree, he seems more “human” in person.
