  7. OMG! I so want to rip his clothes off and have my nasty way with him. He’s looking so incredibly, insanely handsome here that I’m just swooning with ecstasy.

  8. You know what – I’d forgotten how beautiful his real voice is. I have my reservations about the lighting ( or make up) used because he looks a bit Ken doll in some shots but I’m still joining Lttle Red in the ‘lets rip his clothes off and drag him off to bed ‘ corner.

  9. Wow, just wow. I thought he looked a little pale in some shots, but wonderfully golden in others. Thanks for this. I gained ten pounds from pigging out on the eye candy.

  13. I don’t know… Looks like I’m alone in not really liking the vid? Inconsistent lighting, weird music, too artificial for my taste. On the plus side: A few glimpses of the “real” Richard and “the voice” 😉

    • 🙂 Well reflected, I felt that very clearly too. A product of pure merchandising sophisticated, mannered, for those who chose a pop doll: model dark hair Ken for Christmas.

    • No you’re not alone 😂 I did find the music a bit cheesy and the lighting was inconsistent. He looked very pale at times, like he’d need a good dose of vitamins. He could most likely get those in the (hot) corner mentionned above 😜.

But, a vid with RA is better than no vid at all 👌🏻

      • Plus I really enjoyed the sheepish laugh. I find it interesting that, on that day, the truth was the no1 item on his love list. Maybe tomorrow it’ll be:

1-) all the ladies in the corner.
        2-) 😜
        3-) 🙊

    • I think he looks uncomfortable throughout, it’s almost as though he is obliging two young students get a foothold in the photography business and the music sounds as though it should be playing in the lift of the hotel. Horrible.

      • The photographer is the staff photographer for this publication, and has a long resume of photos, so I don’t think he was “helping anyone out.” This is a fluff piece that’s supposed to introduce Broadway audiences to Armitage.

        • That’s what I thought…The whole thing is beautifully made, showing him as a grown-up, sophisticated, intelligent actor (I laughed about the “fresh face”, too) who is able to embody classical characters.
But, somehow, a bit too artificial for me.
My favourite moment is really short when he relaxes his hands in a short pause of filming.

  16. Don’t you think it’s remarkable that he is talking of Richard III again???

    • That surprised the heck out of me, indeed. Although part of me wonders if that was just always his answer to that question and he hasn’t formulated a new one yet.

      • Yeah, maybe. But then his answer would be quite ‘ne olle Kamelle /old chestnut (?) by now. He actually said he wants to play and to get INSIDE the head of Richard III.
Mmmhh… Wonder what the project of Philippa Langley is doing???

        • Apropos, when was the last time he mentioned it? Must be more than 3 years.

          • 2014, during the Crucible publicity, briefly. (My theory then was that he was interested in the Hollow Crown adaptation role that went to Cumberbatch). Before that 2012, in Wellington.

  18. the way Mr. Richard Armitage talked about playing richard III with such a confidence in his voice, that i have a feeling that is going to be his next project and the lady who directed him in the crucible is going to be the director.

  19. Maybe he use this vid not only to be introduce to broadway audiences but also to indicate his capacity to play his great dream part to directors, producers, supporters….
