I…I don’t even know what to say. I just finished watching the film for the first time, and here I was worried someone would be doing some crazy “imagine” type thing involving Raymond de Merville, much like the Francis Dolarhyde weirdos in the fandom. This sort of crap never even entered my mind, though it shouldn’t surprise me one bit, as long as I have been around online fandoms. I’m not sure if I should thank you for bringing it to our attention, Serv. 😛

I guess I’m not sure why you consider it “crap.” It wasn’t something I was expecting, but what exactly qualifies it as “crap”?

And please, don’t call other fans “weirdos.” That’s a violation of the comments policy. If you want to criticize what they say, fine, but please don’t make personal attacks. If you can’t refrain from that, I will suspend your commenting.

Short and quite sweet, I thought.

It was definitely a plot resolution that hadn’t occurred to me, but makes a sort of rhetorical sense.

Someone, I think Bloodangel, suggested the last line of the film should be the Mute’s admission that he’s Raymond’s brother.
