May my prayer rise before you as incense / the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice

Here for the smile:

And here for the serious:

This year, dad has four different appointments tomorrow, therapy, doctors, etc., etc. So I will probably be around here for a while; it hardly feels like a holiday. hope to hear at least a bit of the shofar on the second day.

I’m tired. I feel like that’s all I write lately.

I wish us all to be inscribed in the Book of Life for a year of good health and good life. And enough sleep!

  1. Hope everything goes smoothly, Serv. And that you get caught up on your sleep. ((Hugs))

    • Uch. Our morning plan that is supposed to let me sleep till 8 is still not reliably working, but it will sooner or later. Thanks for the hugs!

  2. Shanah Tovah to you and your family! Another of my online friends shared her nana’s kugel recipe with me and I made it today. I’d never had it before and it was really good! Hopefully you’ll have some time during the holiday to take stock in your life and also enjoy the foods of the holiday as well. A good New Year to you.

  5. Lol. Rosh Hashanah Dreaming — I love it! and thanks for Cohen. It lead me to a wonderful live version of him doing Hallelujah. Very powerful.
Wishing you peace and fulfillment in the year ahead.
